Tell all your attendees to wear black to symbolize oil.
Promote your event by downloading resources from the list on the right (scroll down to view). Resources are available to use only for Hands Across the Sand events.
Please promote using alternative transportation to get to your events. Car pool, bike, take your electric car, skateboard, walk, swim, Segway and most of all public transportation.
Consider making your event a chance to have a picnic, bar-b-que, sand castle building or an informational dialog. Advertise your special events on your organizer notes and FB page. Please respect and steer clear of the sea turtles and bird nesting areas as well as the sea oats and any other flora and fauna at your event.
