Hands Across the Land

Hands Across the Sand started as a movement to protect our beaches from offshore drilling.  It quickly became apparent, though, that not everyone who cared about this issue lives near the coast and also that land-based fossil energy projects pose equal danger to our treasured places.  That’s why we created Hands Across the Land.  Sign up to host a Hands Across the Land event if you are in support of clean energy and oppose hydraulic fracturing, XL oil pipeline, tar sands mining, coal fired power plants or mountain top removal mining.  Our climate is changing due to the use of dirty fuels, lets come together in solidarity and say NO to dirty fuels and YES to clean energy. Click on your state or the globe to begin the process of organizing a 15 minute event in your area. Join hands with us and make a visual statement.
